About me

From journalist to digital strategist, to global content marketing leader, my career has been a journey of connecting brands with audiences through impactful storytelling.

Starting in journalism, it was in a newsroom that I honed my understanding of what makes people really interested in a story: the power of emotions that connect us. This foundation, along with achieving a Master's in Electronic Publishing, paved the way for my transition to crafting digital experiences when I joined Edelman, a leading global PR and digital communications agency. There, I developed my skills leading social media strategies and both online and offline execution for diverse brands like Disney, HBO, Samsung, and eBay across various global regions.

Understanding audiences became my passion, prompting me to dive deeper into brand and audience planning, where I led primary and secondary research that was critical to uncovering the audience insights that would make a campaign relevant. With the experience and skills that came from that, I transitioned into content strategy and marketing roles and for over 6 years atech giants like Bloomberg, Google, and Amazon, I strove to ignite connections between brands and audiences through stories that resonated across countries, cultures, and languages. I also mastered creating content that excelled across channels, and did it all from reactive trends and real-time interactions on social media, to blogs, thought leadership and much more. I owned the conceptualization, creation, and supervision of content in all formats, while driving traffic through targeted major global campaigns.

Aiming to bring my skills and expertise to a growing enterprise, I joined Signify to help relaunch their DTC brand, Philips MyCreation. I defined a new narrative and go-to-market strategy, successfully aligning it with audience desires for seeing how influencers used these 3D printed products. More recently I took a once in a lifetime career break to focus on motherhood. During that time I also delved into consulting, including shaping Coca-Cola's corporate communications strategy for Latin America.

I believe in the power of collaboration and have experience building high-performing teams that deliver impactful content, with or without external support from agencies and vendors.
